| James Knight, CCIM is the 3rd generation of Knight Real
Estate Corporation. Beginning in May of 2000, James has
worked in property management, sales and leasing.
James’ management work includes day to day operations,
leasing, and tax protests for a grocery anchored
shopping center and a self storage facility. As a
Broker, his experience includes both user and investor
sales of raw land, redevelopment, and investment
properties. He has facilitated office, industrial and
retail lease transactions. Prior to his work at Knight
Real Estate, James worked in the New York, New York
office of Marcus and Millichap handling investment sales
in the upper west side of Manhattan.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, James
holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in History with
specializations in Business Foundations and Spanish.
James is active in many real estate organizations
including the Austin Board of Realtors, the Real Estate
Council of Austin, the CCIM Central Texas Chapter, and
the Urban Land Institute. Prior to earning his CCIM
designation, James was invited to become a member of the
Austin Commercial Real Estate Society and was selected
as a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin’s
Leadership Development Committee. James has served in
leadership positions as a director of the Paloma Lake
Municipal Utility District, President of the Bachelors
Club of Austin, and has served in the Transportation and
Membership Committees of the Real Estate Council of
Austin, and the Board of the CCIM Central Texas Chapter. |
