| Robert Knight has an educational background that provides
him insight not found in most real estate practitioners.
He is licensed as an Attorney at Law in the State of
Texas and holds a Master's Degree in Business
Administration. He carries the professional designation
of Certified Commercial/Investment Member (CCIM) of the
Realtor's National Marketing Institute. As an Adjunct
Professor at the University of Texas, he has taught
numerous courses including Introduction to Real Estate
and Urban Land Development, Appraisal Theory and Methods,
and Real Estate Investment. Mr. Knight has served as a
Director of the Austin Board of Realtors, the Texas
Association of Realtors, The Real Estate Council of
Austin, the Austin Multiple Listing Service, the Austin
Commercial Real Estate Society (ACRES), and a number of
banks and charitable institutions. He has qualified as
an expert witness in many real estate matters. Knight
Real Estate has acted as receiver or trustee under the
supervision of both State and Federal courts. Robert
Knight is the recipient of the prestigious Lone Star
Trophy awarded by the Texas Association of Realtors.
This award is presented annually to the broker who
accomplishes the transaction designated as the commercial
transaction of the year in the State of Texas.
